American movie star Tom Cruise is a well-known face not just in the American movie industry but across the world, and this is owing to his active roles in movies like the Mission Impossible franchise, among others.
Even in his late 50s, Tom Cruise remains active in the movie industry, which is why his recent look over the weekend has sparked massive reactions on Twitter and other social media platforms.
Tom Cruise was part of the spectators that watched Game 2 of the National League Division Series in San Francisco.
Although he is known to keep a very low profile when he is not acting in movies, however, over the weekend, he went to watch a baseball game at the Oracle Park, which was the venue of the match between the San Francisco Giants and the Los Angeles Dodgers, alongside his 26-year-old son Connor which could be have been considered a father and son bonding moment.
As the celebrity he is, it would come as a surprise if the camera didn’t make him a centre of attraction. The report from the venue of the game revealed that the actor gladly posed for photos with fans as he freely chatted with people in the crowd.
In a show of honour, Tom Cruise’s face was put up on the big screen during the game, and he also waved as the song Danger Zone from Top Gun’s soundtrack played in the stadium.
However, since the recent photo of Tom Cruise’s surface on social media, there have been claims that the Hollywood actor must have undergone surgery or injected botox or fillers to his face in what was considered an attempt to look younger.
Some social media users claimed Tom Cruise new facial appearance made him look like the Canadian jester Norm Macdonald, who died in September at the age of 61.
Dr Alice Henshaw, during an interview with the Sun, said Tom Cruise’s new face could be because of fillers, but she stressed that there are other possible reasons why his face appears more puffy before.
She said it could be filler, post procedure swelling or weight gain.
However, this is not the first time Tom Cruise will be reported to have undergone a face surgery; the same thing had happened in 2016.
In 2012, Tom Cruise, during an interview with Playboy, revealed he had never undergone a nose job and would never; it, however, appears all of that is now in the past.
I've been a freelance web developer and blogger for a while now and have a passion for both. Like most men, I'm a football lover; I prefer playing to watching matches.Personally, I believe with dedication there's no limit to what we can achieve. Yes, we all have the power and ability to do that.
Brother of a famous Nollywood actor, Uche Edochie, weighs in on the unending backlashes trailing Yul Edochie after taking a second wife.
It would be recalled that the marriage of Yul Edochie with the first wife had been through staggering points following the announcement of the second wife.
In a lengthy post via Instagram, Uche slammed society for worshipping lies than facing the truth.
He questioned which is better between a man marrying more than one wife legally or a man secretly cheating on his only wife.
“What is more admirable between honesty and deception? Most people will tell you that it is honesty and even proceed to quote a part of scripture that says, ‘The truth shall set you free’.
But none of this is true though. Society does not value honesty and the truth will only make you enemies. It doesn’t set you free. Not on this planet. If we all went around speaking our minds, we will either end up dead or in jail. We are encouraged to tell the truth but vilified when we do. Isn’t that something?
So we lie to our wives, husbands, parents, children and all of society. We lie to protect them because we know that they cannot handle the truth. That is why we lie.
The most controversial thing you can do today is not killing, cheating or stealing. Society does this everyday enmass. The most controversial thing you can do is to tell the truth. A lie is like a bottle of soda. It tastes good but it isn’t good for us.
Truth on the other hand is like quinine. The taste is horrible but healthy and curative. That is why we have adverts of your coca colas and pepsis plastered all over the world but not quinine. A lie simply tastes better.
And this my friends is why we celebrate cheaters and attack truth tellers. We consider it more respectable for a man to marry one wife and quietly cheat on her with multiple women than for him to marry two or more of these women, making his feelings for them official and respectable.
It seems to me that the issues we face in life are not because we are imperfect humans. We struggle as a society simply because we cannot handle the truth.”
In a follow-up video, Uche Edochie quizzed his fans on whether or not society should condemn a mistake or should the mistake be worked on.
