Kemi Afolabi after disclosing she is battling with a terminal health condition added that  her doctor said she has 5 more years to live 

Veteran Nollywood actress, Ngozi Nwosu has comforted and motivated her colleague Kemi Afolabi after she disclosed she is battling a terminal illness.

Afolabi during a recent interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo opened up on her battle with Lupus, an inflammatory condition where the immune system attacks its own tissues and organs.

The actress broke down in tears as she revealed her doctors told her she has only 5 years to live, out of which she has spent a year already. 

“I have lupus. It’s not curable. You just have to take medications for the rest of your life.” She said.

She also quoted her doctor to have said, “Make sure you are with your loved ones. At least, you still have up to five years”

Kemi Afolabi added that she has spent a lot of money on the ailment, yet, she did not get the desired result.

Reacting to the news, veteran actress, Ngozi Nwosu comforted her and prayed that God will heal her, she also cited her own case, where everyone had given up on her to encourage her.  

“May the almighty God who healed me when they thought it was over, heal you Kemi. may his mercy that never ends be with you now and always, for what God can not do does not exist. Have faith my dear.” she wrote on her Instagram page.

Ngozi Nwosu who began her acting career in Yoruba-language films became widely known for her role as “Peaceful Peace” in the Fuji House of Commotion series. 

In 2012, she took ill and famously sought N6 million to undergo treatment for a kidney/heart-related ailment.

Her health was eventually restored after she was flown abroad for treatment by the Lagos State government and some non-governmental organizations.
