Former Oyo Commissioner, Ambali Ahmed reportedly dead

Ambali Ahmed, former Commissioner of Agriculture and Natural Resources in Oyo State, has passed away.

Naija News 247 learned that the 66-year-old Ambali Ahmed, who died after a brief illness, has been buried in Alagbaa, according to Islamic rites, in Akinyele local government.

Hon. Abiodun Adigun-Ahmed, the former Chief Whip of House of Assembly, confirmed his death to Nigerian Tribune Online on Wednesday.

In his lifetime, Ahmed represented Akinyele constituency II at the Oyo State House of Assembly and was instrumental in the passing of several bills.
