FC Barcelona has announced a three-year sponsorship deal with Spotify including renaming the stadium to Spotify Camp Nou.
For the first time in the stadium’s 65 year history, Barcelona’s home ground will be rebranded as part of a long-term agreement with Spotify.
Naija News 247 gathered the new main sponsor, Spotify will appear on the chest of the first team shirt of both men and women. The deal is to commence from next season.
The sponsor’s name will also appear on the training shirts, as confirmed by Barca in an official statement.
It is a big operation carried out by Barça.
Naija News 247 recalls, for several weeks, the club had been looking for a new sponsor as its partnership with Rakuten is about to end. Cited among the favourites, it’s Spotify, the Swedish streaming service, which will now be displayed on the jersey of the Catalan team.
However, the company has reached an agreement with the club’s leaders for 93 million euros for three years.
