Four lecturers with the Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Edo State have been relieved of their jobs over alleged misconduct, Naija News 247 gathered.

Though there were not much details on the lecturer’s offences, the institution’s Public Relations Officer, Edward Aihevba, however, noted in a statement made available to newsmen on Monday that the lecturers were dismissed for gross misconduct.
Naija News 247 understands the university management had acted upon the recommendation of a Special Intervention Team which considered a report of the Senior Staff Disciplinary Committee.
The team at an emergency meeting held on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, concluded that the lecturers be sacked.
The names of the lectures were not made public yet, Naija News 247 reports.
